Ready for a summer of fun?
Our chess camp is open to students of all skill levels. From the beginner learning how the pieces move to the advanced tournament player, our instructors will engage your child at their level, challenge them to improve and motivate them to reach the next level. Most importantly, lessons and activities are designed to foster a love for the game, encourage good social skills and develop great friendships.
Each day will include 3 hours of chess instruction throughout the day, interspersed with daily outdoor activities and play (in adjacent Carroll Park), and other enriching games and activities.
Once again, our camp will be held in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. In July, we are excited to be partnering with Smith Street Workshop, in their beautiful new location at 104 1st Place, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn NY 11231 (across the street from PS 58).
Camp is offered weekly from July 1-August 9th (please contact about more dates in August). Single days of camp are also available for a pro-rated fee.
